Sie wohnen in unmittelbarer Nähe zu den berühmten Hackeschen Höfen im Szene-Stadtteil Berlin-Mitte. Nachdem Sie das Haus verlassen haben, sind Sie direkt im turbulenten und kreativen Stadtteil Mitte. Die optimale Anbindung an die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel macht es einfach die Stadt zu entdecken.

Alle Geschäfte zur Deckung Ihres täglichen Bedarfs befinden sich in direkter Nähe.

Das Apartment verfügt über eine vollständig eingerichtete Küche mit allen Geräten. Liebevoll ausgewählte Accessoires und Dekorationen geben dem Apartment eine angenehme Ausstrahlung. Es gibt eine Ess-Ecke, die sich aber aber auch sehr gut als Arbeitsecke nutzen lässt. Ein kostenloser WLAN-Anschluss ist vorhanden.

Das Apartment verfügt ein großes Doppelbett. Flat-TV und eine kleine Musikanlage (mit iPod-Anschluss) sind ebenfalls vorhanden. Das Badezimmer ist mit einer Badewanne und einer Waschmaschine ausgestattet. Die Einbauküche wird bietet Ihnen eine gute Basisaustattung sowohl für das kleine Frühstück als auch eine opulente Mahlzeit. Hochwertige Bettwäsche und Handtücher sind selbstverständlich vorhanden.

Zu dem Apartment werden 2 Schlüssel übergeben. Zusätzlich können ein Hochstuhl für Kinder sowie ein Kinderbett bereitgestelt werden.

Bei Berlin-Mitte handelt es sich um das Viertel mit den meisten touristischen Sehenswürdigkeiten in Berlin. Endlos ist die Liste an historischen und sehenswürdigen Plätzen und Gebäuden. Bei dem Brandenburger Tor, dem Symbol für Berlin nach und vor der Wiedervereinigung, handelt es sich wohl um das bekannteste Monument von Berlin. Von hier geht es über die Prachtstraße unter den Linden mit dem bekannten Hotel Adlon über die Karl-Liebknecht-Straße bis zum Alexanderplatz mit dem Fernsehturm und der Weltzeituhr vorbei an der Humboldt-Universität, der Staatsoper, der Museumsinsel, dem Berliner Dom beim Lustgarten und dem zukünftigen Standort des Stadtschlosses.

Die Museumsinsel, mittlerweile UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe, beherbergt ein Ensemble an berühmten Museen. Die Friedrichstraße ist heute eine Einkaufsstraße mit noblen Kaufhäusern, wie z. B. der Galerie Lafayette oder das Quartier 206 und anderen Einkaufsläden. Sie führt zum ehemaligen Grenzübergang Checkpoint Charlie und in die andere Richtung zur Oranienburger Straße.

Dieses ehemalige jüdische Viertel ist ein beliebtes Ausgehviertel von Berlin. In der Nähe liegen die Neue Synagoge, die Hackeschen Höfe. Bei dem Gendarmenmarkt handelt es sich um einen der schönsten Plätze in Berlin, hier steht auch das Schauspielhaus, sowie der Deutsche und der Französische Dom.

Berlin besitzt ein sehr dichtes öffentliches Verkehrsnetz. Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sind schnell direkt erreichbar. Wegen der zentralen Lage lassen die meisten Gäste ihr Auto stehen oder bringen es gar nicht erst mit. Das Apartment liegt direkt am Berliner U/S-Bahnhof Hackescher Markt in der östlichen City in der Nähe von Alexanderplatz, Brandenburger Tor und Unter den Linden. Mehrere S-Bahn-Linien, (Nacht)-Busse und ein Taxistand liegen direkt in der Nähe.

Die nächste Autobahnabfahrt liegt ein paar Autominuten entfernt im Norden der Wohnung und heißt Dreieck Pankow.

Vom Flughafen Tegel nehmen Sie den Bus 128 bis zum U-Bhf. Osloer Straße und steigen dort in die U8 (Richtung Hermannstraße) und fahren bis zum U-Bhf. Weinmeisterstraße (42 Min.). Von dort sind es ca. noch 150 m zu Fuß.

Vom Flughafen Schönefeld fahren Sie mit der S9 (oder einer anderen entsprechenden Linie) zur Station Jannowitzbrücke, wechseln dort in die U8 Richtung Wittenau und fahren bis zur Station Weinmeisterstraße (53 Min.). Von dort sind es ca. noch 80 m zu Fuß.

Vom Hauptbahnhof fahren Sie mit der S5 (oder einer anderen entsprechenden Linie) Richtung Strausberg zur Station Hackescher Markt (5 Min.). Von dort sind es ca. noch 200 m zu Fuß.

The 1-room apartment (40 sqm) is located near the Hackesche Höfe in the trendy Berlin district of Mitte. The flat is situated on the 2nd floor in Steinstraße, a small, quiet street within this vibrant area, so you’ll be living in a peaceful and quiet apartment, while being in the heart of the city. It is an area well-known throughout the world, a cultural centre and famous for its nightlife.

The Hackescher Markt area has become a centre for new trends in fashion and culture, with its wealth of fashionable shops and restaurants, the contemporary art galleries on Auguststraße and Linienstrasee, and the alternative cinemas and theatres at Hackesche Höfe, all of them are within a few minutes'walk from the apartment.

After leaving the house you will find yourself in the middle of the lively, trendy district of Mitte. Due to Berlin’s extensive public transport network, all the sights of the city are easily accessible.

The flat has a fully equipped kitchen. The apartment is tastefully decorated with accessories, giving it a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. There is a small dining area with a dining table.

One large double bed, a flatscreen-television, DVD, iPod docking station and radio are all included. The pleasantly styled bathroom is fitted with both a bathtub and a washing machine, and high quality towels plus elegant bed linen are included. The kitchen comes fully equipped with all mod cons. (microwave etc). In addition, a childrens´chair and a baby bed are available, should you need them.

You will have generous space for luggage and clothes. The flat has got a wireless LAN access (WiFi, WLAN). You will receive two sets of keys.

Of all the Berliner districts, Mitte definitely has the most tourist attractions. The list of sights and historical buildings and squares, is endless. The Brandenburg Gate, a landmark both before and after reunification, is the most famous monument in Berlin. From here the magnificent boulevard Unter den Linden runs almost all the way to Alexanderplatz with its Television Tower and World Time Clock. On the way you will be passing the Humboldt University, the oldest university in Berlin, Staatsopera (the Operahouse), Museumsinsel (the Museum Island) and the site of the future Stadtschloss (town castle).

The Museumsinsel (Museum Island) is a World Heritage site. It is a treasure-trove of famous museums. Friedrichstraße is today a commercial shopping boulevard with flagship stores and grand shopping centres like Galerie Lafayette, Quartier Latin and various international couture boutiques. The street leads to Checkpoint Charlie, the main gateway for the Allied forces, non-Germans and diplomats before the wall came down - and then leads on further to Oranienburger Straße.

This former Jewish quarter is a very popular district for going out and very famous for its nightlife and hip young crowd. Nearby you will find the Neue Synagoge and the Hackesche Höfe. Gendarmenmarkt, which is said to be one of the most beautiful squares in Europe, is not far away. Here you will find buildings like the Schauspielhaus as well as the German and French Cathedrals.

Berlin has got an extensive public transport network. Due to the flat’s central location, a lot of visitors leave their cars parked or don't even come to town by car at all. Many of the tourist attractions are easily accessible. The apartment is situated near the S-Bahn station Hackescher Markt and the U-Bahn station Weinmeisterstraße in former East Berlin. Additionally, there is a taxi rank very near the flat. Nearby you will find sights like Alexanderplatz, the Brandenburg Gate and the famous boulevard Unter den Linden.

How to get to the flat:

The nearest motorway exit is situated 7 kilometres away - north of the flat - and will take you only a couple of minutes by car.

For drivers please keep in mind that you have to pay for parking spaces in the streets around the flat. You could also use parking house nearby.

From Tegel Airport: take the bus no. 128 to underground station (U-Bahnhof) Osloer Straße, there you change into the line U8 in the direction of Hermannstraße and get off at the U-station Weinmeister Straße (42 minutes). From there it will take you only a couple of minutes on foot, about 100 metres.

From Schönefeld Airport: take the S9 (urban railway) to the station Jannowitzbrücke, change into the underground line U8 in the direction of Wittenau and get off at the station Weinmeister Straße (53 minutes) From there it will take you only a couple of minutes on foot, about 100 metres.

From Hauptbahnhof (the central train station) take the S5 (the urban railway) in the direction of Strausberg and get off at the station Hackescher Markt (5 minutes). From there you will have a walking distance of about 150 meters to the flat.
